Caladesi Island State Park is your own private island - almost - if you take the ferry over from Honeymoon Island or walk all the way up from North Clearwater Beach. The 2.9 miles of hiking trails seem lightly used: lying on the beach or kayaking through the mangroves are the main attractions.
